Yacht Charter, Fethiye, Turkey

Set into the pine-clad hillsides of Mount Menos, Fethiye (map) looks out over a turquoise sea and is just 30 miles from Dalaman airport. Its naturally protected harbour makes it an ideal place to begin your yacht charter. You will see a fortress on the hill overlooking the city which was built by Knights of Rhodes.

Fethiye is known for its elaborately carved rock tombs cut into the faces of the cliffs by the Lycians. There is an excellent marina and idyllic anchorages lie within easy reach in Fethiye bay.

You have the choice of sailing bareboat or on flotilla.  Flotillas start on Saturdays (May - October); supplement (payable locally) = €175 per yacht, per week.

Flights & Transfers:

Fly to Dalaman with easyjet (Stansted [Fridays] & Manchester), Thomson, Thomas Cook, H4u or BA or book a charter flight with your travel agent. Taxi transfers are about 45 minutes to the marina.
