Flotilla Holidays:
Turkey and Athens
Flotilla
holidays are available in Turkey - from
Bodrum (Monday starts) and
Fethiye (Saturday starts)
- or, with two companies, from
Athens in Greece (Saturday starts).
Simply charter the
yacht of your choice and, to join the flotilla, pay a weekly
supplement when you arrive at your holiday
destination. Flotilla supplements start at £120 per yacht, per week
(for details, follow
the "quick links" on the right).
If you wish, you could sail with the flotilla for some of your
sailing holiday and then sail bareboat for any additional weeks.
Flotillas in Turkey:
Bodrum:
This
flotilla leaves on Mondays (mid May - September) and is accompanied by German skippers,
Volker and Tanja. The flotilla alternates between one week sailing
into the Gökova gulf and the next week heading for the Hisarönü
gulf. These are both wonderful, with blue, crystal-clear waters and,
for most of the time, the wind force is perfect.
Fethiye:
This flotilla leaves on Saturdays (mid May - October) and is accompanied by a Dutch
couple, Joost and Iris. The flotilla alternates between one week
sailing in the direction of Marmaris, and the next week cruising
towards Kas and Kalkan. This ensures variation if you opt for a two
week flotilla.
Flotillas in Greece:
Flotillas start from
Athens on Saturdays
(mid May - October) and sail weekly into
the Saronic gulf, or, in high season, on a two week programme
into the Saronic Gulf and on to the Eastern Peloponese. |
